The mission of the Finance Ministry is to support and serve the members and ministries of Calvary Baptist Church in the area of financial management. They prepare the budgets for the church, school, preschool, camp, bookstore, and other related ministries of the church. They maintain all operating funds, oversee the receipts, disbursements and preparation of financial reports, and manage church investments and insurance.
A review body evaluates the general financial affairs and ensures fiscal responsibility and integrity is maintained. This is done, to the extent possible, through a monthly review of financial data with the Director of Finance and Administration, oversight of general tithes and offerings, evaluation of internal controls and ensuring that appropriate data is properly disclosed.
