Who Should Be Baptized?

All who have trusted Jesus as the forgiver of their sins and the leader of their life.
Acts 2:38-41— “Repent and be baptized, every one of you...Those who accepted his message were baptized.”
Acts 8:35-38—“Then Philip opened his mouth and beginning from this Scripture he preached Jesus to him. As they went along the road they came to some water; and the eunuch said, ‘Look! Water! What prevents me from being baptized?’ And Philip said, ‘If you believe with all your heart, you may.’ And he answered and said, ‘I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.’ And he ordered the chariot to stop; and they both went down into the water, Philip as well as the eunuch and he baptized him.”

Why Should I Be Baptized?

Baptism was commanded by Jesus
Matthew 28:18-20, “Then Jesus came to them and said, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.
And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.’”
Baptism was practiced by the early church in the book of Acts

Baptism is an outward symbol of an inward reality.

At that moment heaven was opened and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on Him.”

Acts 8:38-9, “Then both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water and Philip baptized him. When they came up out of the water the Spirit of the Lord took Philip away...”
